My office went to the ribbon cutting and dedication of our latest Marine housing project.

It was dedicated to Lance Corporal Donald Hogan who died in the line of duty.

Here we are with the Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus. He was only mildly impressed to hear that my great-grandfather also served as Secretary of the Navy.

Thanksgiving Trip

Over Thanksgiving we took a trip to see family in Indiana, Illinois and Iowa.

Abby received a doctor's kit as an early Christmas present and took care of all the cousins.

Adoption video

This video was made by some friends of ours. Their recently adopted daughter asked them if she could make a video to speak out for orphans and the need for adoption.

Xiaoyun was adopted in April, just days before she would have turned 14 and no longer been eligible for adoption.
