Star Date 5.24.2009

Here we are, reporting for a viewing of Star Trek. We all three liked it a lot. Not sure what we are going to wear for the Transformers opening......hmmmm......

Memorial Day in Fresno

We made our first road trip up to Fresno this weekend. Abby did pretty well considering the Memorial Day traffic.
We had fun hanging out with Abby's Nana and Papa and their dog, Mia.

Uncle Jamey's Visit

We had a super fun visit from Abby's Uncle Jamey last weekend. He took Abby on her first big hike up the ravine behind our house. Here he is making her laugh at the top-they steal the thunder away from the view of our town!

Doctor Visit and shots!

Today was Abby's first visit with Dr. Tai. He said she looked very healthy and happy and we all liked him right away. Abby is just a few days away from her 7th month birthday and she is 25.25 inches and weighs 13 lbs. 7 oz. This is what Abby does to the doctor's nice sterile examining table-we think she must be part Stitch!
Abby had to get shots for Hepatitis B, DTaP, HIB, Pneumococcal, and Polio today. She was very brave and afterward she came home and Daddy gave her a bottle and we put her down for some rest.
Check out her Daffy Duck band aids. Very cool.

Photo Shoot

Abby had her first photo shoot. My office was putting together a proposal for a child care facility and we needed some photos of young children to add to the renderings. Luckily not ten minutes away from the office we found the cutest baby in the world, and she even had her own studio with green screen. How could we pass up an opportunity like that.

Here are the final renderings.

Grandma and Grandpa Wetmore come to visit

New Abby Experiences

Abby in her new shades! Okay, so she doesn't quite fit them yet but we had to get them because they were so cute. And the San Diego sun can burn eyes-trust us!
Here is Daddy trying some rice cereal. So far she is just having fun pushing it around and then out with her tongue but she is having fun! She has also tried carrots and has much the same reaction. She doesn't hate it but she is just tasting, not swallowing.

Of course, she wants to try herself! Don't be fooled-her spoon is empty but she feels like a big girl and she is so cute!! She takes after her momma with that independent streak.
