Brave Abby

Abby was so brave today. She had to get another vaccination shot and she had to get blood drawn at the lab to do some anemia and lead tests. It was just her and her mama and she hardly cried at all, I was so proud.

JOH Taiwan Picnic

Our adoption agency, Journeys of the Heart has an annual picnic for all the families who have adopted from Taiwan. Last year we were there with only hope in our hearts but this year we had Abby in our arms! So fun-here we are with Tien-the Taiwan coordinator.Here was the attempt at the group shot-what a bunch of Taiwan cuties! Abby was the youngest one there this year.

Visit to Seattle

We were able to fly up for a few days to visit Gramma Lu and Grandpop in Seattle. Here Abby was able to practice her crawling with Grandpop and she is in a matching outfit with Gramma Lu-so stylish!

Officially a Wetmore!

We finished the California readoption on Thursday in a San Diego County courthouse with a very nice judge. This was a formality which makes it easier to get Abby's SS card and she will also now have a California State birth certificate which will help her when she enrolls in Kindergarten and throughout the rest of her life. This also made her name change official so she is legally Abigail Heng-Chen Wetmore!

Our dear friend Wendy came by to snuggle Abby this weekend. Wendy needs to beat the desert heat by coming to visit more often!
